Which level of SalsaMagic class is right for you?
We've put together these definitions so you can decide what level of salsa dancer you are, and which class would suit you best.

Salsa Class: BEGINNER IMPROVER INTERMEDIATE ADVANCED
Dancing salsa for: 0 months 2-6 months 6 months to 1 year 1 year +
Salsa awareness: You think Salsa is something  to dip your Dorritos in, your idea of Latin Music is Ricky Martin, and you think you've got two left feet! You have had some salsa lessons, either with SalsaMagic, or at another class, and are comfortable with the basic movement, steps and turns. You have a good understanding of Salsa music and dance, and how to interpret the rhythm and timing of the music in your dance. You have mastered control of your body balance, footwork and timing and can move quickly from one pattern to the next.
Skills for men: You've been dragged along kicking and screaming by your other half, or you're  fed up with the pub, the telly, and football! You can lead your partner with confidence, indicating changes clearly. You are able to direct and execute simple turns. You have mastered the cross-body lead, and have a good repertoire of turn patterns moving easily between each one. You can execute hand and directional changes with balance and styling. You have the capacity to remember and skillfully lead a series of complex and interpretive moves with continuity and grace. You display styling whilst   demonstrating your command of the dance.
Skills for women: You've decided the gym's too much like hard work, and you know keeping fit can be fun!! You understand signals, and can follow your partner's lead, executing simple turns as directed. You can follow a series of basic turn patterns and can perform some interpretive footwork and body styling. You are increasingly confident at tackling double spins, perfecting your technique.  You cope with multiple turns, spins, and intricate moves, following with ease. Complex footwork is a challenge, but one that you relish! You move instinctively with balance, poise and elegance!

So which class?
